Why?

Starting with the opening scene of The Phantom Menace and continuing on to the close of Return of the Jedi, I am attempting to retell the entire Star Wars saga using only limericks.

Limerickizing Star Wars from start to finish is an idea I've had since March of 2007. I started writing a couple stanzas here and there, and as soon as I realized it didn't take a lot of talent or effort, I realized my dream could come true.

Did you like that word I used, "limerickizing"? Not really? If you prefer real words but perhaps ones that aren't commonly used, you may like my other blog, Rephrazer. Over there, I take common phrases or quotes and clobber them with a Thesaurus. The results are disastrous but fun.
